Who you are buying from

Every ticket on Artzee is sold by the curator whose name is on the event page. The curator runs the event and is responsible for it. Artzee, Inc. (“Artzee”) collects your payment as the curator's payments agent and passes it to them.

Paying Artzee pays the curator

Your payment to Artzee is received on behalf of the curator and settles what you owe them for the ticket, the moment the payment goes through. If Artzee ever failed to pass the money on, that would be between Artzee and the curator. You will never be asked to pay again.

Fees

Artzee's service fee is 8% of the ticket price plus $0.99 per ticket. For a curator in their first 90 days of selling it is lower: $1.00 per ticket on tickets of $20 and under, and 8% above that. The event page shows whether it is added to your total or already inside the price. Hawaii general excise tax (4.712%) on the ticket and the fee is added the same way, and Artzee pays it to the State of Hawaii under Hawaii Tax ID 102-924-6464 (GE-102-924-6464-01). The total you see before you pay is the total you are charged.

Refunds

Sales are final. If the curator cancels the event, you are refunded in full, fees included, automatically, and we email you. It usually shows on your statement within 5 to 10 business days.

For 24 hours after you buy, you can ask the curator for a refund: open your ticket and tap Request a refund. The refund is the curator's decision. Artzee does not hold the curator's money and cannot refund you on their behalf. The curator sees your request in their console and hears about it by email. If they agree, the refund is issued from their account and your tickets are cancelled. After 24 hours the request link is gone and the sale stands.

Your ticket

Your ticket is the link in your email, and the QR code it shows once claimed. One scan per ticket at the door. Events marked 21+ check ID, and a ticket does not guarantee entry without it. If the date, time or place changes, we email you.

Problems
