World-renowned photographers Steve McCurry and Alan Schaller join us for our next OurTalks, the next installment of our regular artist talk series. An iconic figure of contemporary photography for decades, Steve McCurry documents global conflicts and diverse cultures, most known for his iconic 1985 National Geographic cover portrait “Afghan Girl”. Alan Schaller is a London-based photographer and Leica Ambassador whose work has become a defining reference in contemporary black-and-white street photography for its high-contrast monochrome style and bold use of shadows, turning everyday city scenes into dramatic compositions. Hear from two distinctive voices who share a singular passion for image-making. 📍 OurSpace, 1052 Waimanu St., Honolulu, HI 🗓️ Wednesday, August 26 ⏰ 5-7PM. Doors open at 5, talk will begin at 5:30. 🎟️ Free and open to the public, RSVPs requested (link in bio)
