Spend a creative morning inside the galleries at Capitol Modern with artist and educator Jodie Chock for Quick Draw: Portrait Workshop. Inspired by the Schaefer Portrait Challenge, Jodie will lead a mini-lesson exploring portrait drawing and share techniques from her own artistic practice. Jodie is a full-time visual arts educator at Kalāheo High School and an exhibiting artist in the Schaefer Portrait Challenge. Her featured work incorporates hand-folded paper cranes into her painting, and participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the materials and collage techniques behind her process.
