Announcing the debut exhibition at OurSpace, CASTED: The Korean Tiger, opening on Friday, July 3, 2026. This inaugural show bridges the gap between digital fabrication and local fine art through an innovative three-way cross-collaboration. Utilizing the 3D printers inside the OurSpace makerspace, local artist Lauren Hana Chai’s traditional Koren tiger design was translated into a physical, limited-edition blank sculpture. OurSpace then invited 10 exceptional local artists to treat the 3D sculpt as a fresh canvas, using paint, ink, and their own distinct styles to completely re-imagine the piece. While every artist started with the exact same 3D-printed then casted form, the final collection is incredibly diverse. By intersecting technology with street culture, illustration, and fine art, CASTED highlights what happens when local creators share resources, space, and ideas. 📍 OurSpace, 1052 Waimanu St., Honolulu, HI ⏰ Opening Fri, July 3, 5:30–8 PM 🗓️ On view through August 14 🎟️ Free - RSVP appreciated (link in bio)
