Making the Line

REPOST makingthelinefilm 36 DAYS UNTIL THE PREMIERE! Today, we’re revealing the official artwork for MAKING THE LINE — our film poster and the image that will lead us to our WORLD PREMIERE at the 46th Hawaiʻi International Film Festival. Our director, mszilla, dreamed of this perspective for the poster for a long time: looking down onto the Merrie Monarch stage from what is famously known as the HULA CAM. IYKYK. If you know, you know. It’s a little nod to every hula dancer who has given their all to earn their place on that stage. MAKING THE LINE will have its world premiere at HIFF46, followed by screenings across Hawaiʻi. 📍 SCREENINGS OʻAHU 10/22 | 7 PM | Consolidated Theatres Kahala — WORLD PREMIERE 10/29 | 3:15 PM | Consolidated Theatres Kahala BIG ISLAND 11/8 | 7:30 PM | Kahilu Theatre, Waimea 11/14 | 8 PM | Palace Theater, Hilo MAUI 11/15 | 6 PM | Maui Arts & Cultural Center 🎟️ Tickets go on sale to the public September 22.
